This weeks
Easy Street Mystery installment that is.
I have only completed 9 units of the many needed this week, again I am not making it all now, but 9 is pretty dismal effort.
I do have all my white triangles cut, some of the red squares and some of the aqua triangles. I do want to collect more variety with these colours
I will get some more pieced this week as my leader and ender sewing.
I am linking with
Bonnie's blog , so look at all the other work and colours and thoughts on the finished quilt
Fiona, Don't feel bad! You've made 9 more Step 3 units than I have! I didn't get any made this week. I HATE triangles!
ReplyDeleteI love how the red pops against the teal in your units. Gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww if you failed, I would hate to see how people would describe the 4 I got done.. lol
ReplyDeleteYou DID NOT fail.. and they look great..
You did great with all you have going on. It goes fast once you get going.
ReplyDeleteI think they look great. Actually, re-thinking my color choices. May have to make 2!
ReplyDeleteThose colors are going to be cool together! Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteThey look great even though you only made 9.
ReplyDeleteIt's 9 more things than I worked on this week.
Love those colors! I only cut mine out this week and the week before 10 flying geese! We'll sew them soon right? That's my plan.
ReplyDeleteThis time a year has to be a really busy for you. Lots of people are anxious to get their tops quilted. Sure wish I could do longarm quilting. I have several tops pieced, but it's going to be quite a while before I get any further with them. Your blocks look really good and the colors look real happy!
ReplyDeleteYour patches look fantastic. I love the bright turquoises. Not long now till Clue 4!
